Kosovarja
Overview
The first issue of the “Kosovarja” Magazine came out in 1971. From that time, despite many difficulties, it never stopped publishing.
In 1992, “Kosovaren”, as well as other magazines, were removed from the Press Palace by the Serbian regime. For a while, the workers were left without a headquarters.
In 1994, at the request of some individuals in Switzerland, the publication of “Kosovara” began, first, in the Diaspora, then in Kosovo, even though there were threats from the Serbian government.
From that time, “Kosovarja”, from a monthly magazine, became a bi-weekly and began to become very popular and read. “Kosovarja”, from 2008, also has an online portal, which, like the printed version, very quickly has become the most sought after and most read by Albanians everywhere, bringing information, different articles from everyday life, reports, interviews to trend articles from all areas of life: show business, art, fashion, health, evidence of beauty.
Great importance is also given to writings which aim to help the general emancipation of women and the family as a whole, both in cultural, social, political and economic aspects.
