FC 2 Korriku Girls Academy – From a USD 130 Idea to a National Force
Founded in 2022, FC 2 Korriku Girls Academy by Mr. Sedat Limani who began with a simple but powerful belief: girls in Kosovo deserve equal access to football (soccer). The project started with just USD 130, one parent—Sedat Limani—and his daughter Etna, guided by a clear principle of giving back to the community, especially to girls in sport. With no infrastructure, sponsors, or guarantees, the Academy began training a small group of girls driven solely by vision, discipline, and long-term planning.
Today, the Academy works with 80+ girls across multiple age categories and has become one of the most respected and successful girls’ football projects in Kosovo and the region. Crucially, all players (girls) train completely free of charge—no fees for training, equipment, kits, or competitions—ensuring that opportunity is defined by talent and commitment, not financial background.
