The Faculty of Mathematical-Natural Sciences is a faculty with tradition. Its establishment dates from 1971 (with the decision of the Assembly of Kosovo, Official Gazette of KSA of Kosovo no. 37/71). It should be mentioned that the studies of natural sciences and mathematics (biology, physics, chemistry and mathematics) started eleven years earlier within the Faculty of Philosophy, founded in 1960.

Since that period, several decades have passed and with them entire generations of teachers, employees, scientists and students, therefore the success of the faculty is dedicated to them. Hundreds of young students who know this tradition and the professors who work with them, walk in their footsteps, constantly striving to be the best, everywhere and at all times.
