The establishment of the Faculty of Medicine within the University of Pristina was preceded by the approval of the law by the Assembly of the KSA of Kosovo on June 17, 1969.
The Faculty of Medicine functions as an academic unit, and educational activities are carried out in the following Institutions:
– University Clinical Center of Kosovo,
– University Dental Clinical Center of Kosovo,
– National Institute of Public Health,
– Preclinical Institutes,
– National Center of Blood Transfusion,
– Institute of Occupational Medicine,
– Center for the Development of Family Medicine, and
– Kosovo Agency for Medicinal Products and Equipment.
