Down Syndrome Association Kosovo (DSK) is a non-governmental organization, with the status of Association, founded on March 4, 2007 by parents of people with Down syndrome (SD). DSK was registered on April 5, 2007, with Registration Number; 5111389-6 and No. Fiscal: 600279485. DSK is a national community organization with its services in five (5) regional areas of the country; Prishtina, Mitrovica, Prizren Ferizaj and Gjilan.

So far, the Association has managed to mobilize the community, which counts over 980 families of community members, to organize initiatives on the promotion and realization of the basic rights of people with Down syndrome and in general of people with disabilities.
